Becky & Jarett’s Rustic Barn Wedding at Dorsett House in Siler City, NC

It was truly a perfect day for a mostly outdoor wedding at Dorsett House in Siler City, NC!

During the ceremony under the pavilion, officiant Ann Mckenzie wove together a beautiful story of how bride and groom Becky and Jarett found their way to the altar.  It was a truly touching and special wedding ceremony as always by one of our favorite officiants, Ann.  Cocktail hour took place outside the Dorsett house where guests enjoyed food, drink, and games out on the patio which provided the perfect setup for the grand entrance.

After the introductions, Becky and Jarett gave a warm welcome to all the guests followed by a blessing from Becky’s father to kick off a delicious meal.  While dinner was being served, toasts by the best man and maid of honor really illuminated why the newlyweds are so perfect for one another.  With dinner ending, everyone wasted no time getting out on the dance floor back under the pavilion.  We got to play all kinds of artists and genres from Bruce Springsteen to Steve Aoki which made for a super fun dance party that lasted late in the night, ending with an unforgettable last dance to “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey.  It was such a pleasure to be a part of Becky and Jarett’s big day – days like these are what keeps us doing what we do.  Both from the bride and groom as well as their guests we truly felt welcomed as a part of the family for the day which made it all the more special for us.
