Nicole & John’s Silent Disco Wedding at Heights House in Raleigh, NC

We had the pleasure of working with so many incredibly nice people from Nicole & John, their families & friends, the Officiant, planners to the rest of the wedding vendors.  It is always nice when the clients reach out to personally thank us at the wedding!

Nicole & John chose to have a silent disco wedding and it was a great choice!  If you’re not familiar with the silent disco trend, basically the DJ transmits two audio signals and the guests can choose which signal or channel to listen to through their headphones.  It works great where there are noise restrictions and it is super fun to watch people dancing and going crazy when there is literally no music playing outside of the headphones hence the ‘silent disco’.

Heights House is truly a spectacular venue!  The plans for an outdoor ceremony were in jeopardy due to heavy rains earlier in the week, but the skies cleared just in time and everything went off without a hitch. The outdoor tent was the perfect addition to help accommodate a ton of awesome people that came to celebrate with John & Nicole. The top notch staff was very helpful and made everything so darn easy for us!

Silent discos are a pretty new wedding trend in the Raleigh area and only one person in the room had ever participated in one.  It was a lot of fun watching everyone enjoyed the different musical options.  From the DJ’s perspective, it was even more fun trying to guess which channel they were listening to based on their dance moves.

It was definitely a unique event we won’t forget and we hope they enjoyed it as much as we did!
