River & Alex’s Wedding at The Barn at Wilkins Farm in Coats, NC

From the very beginning, River and Alex really set the tone for one of the most fun weddings we’ve been a part of!  Their outdoor wedding ceremony featured classic and fun tunes such as “Boogie Shoes” by KC and the Sunshine Band which had guests already dancing in their seats before the party had even officially begun.

After an absolutely incredible ceremony featuring beautiful vows from the newlyweds, guests headed into the barn for the cocktail hour where we were set up in the loft giving us an excellent view overlooking the spacious yet perfectly laid out and decorated barn.  Most weddings we DJ only have 3 special dances to start off the night but River and his dad decided to step it up a notch with a 4th dance.  This was no ordinary dance… no, River and his dad busted out the moves with an impressively choreographed and hilarious series of moves featuring tons of props.  After a performance like that, it’s impossible not to have a super fun dance party and this one most certainly was.  River and Alex wrapped up the night with a sparkler exit to the perfectly chosen song “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge to seal the deal on a night that we and the guests won’t ever forget.

Hats off to a great couple that made us feel like family!
